Facility Information

Recology Stockton is our California landscape yard where you can come browse our selection of products in person. Although we don't have a compost processing facility on site, compost produced locally at our neighboring Recology Blossom Valley Organics facility can be bought in retail or bulk quantities here. Check out the "Products" tab to see the quality compost, mulches, barks, and rock products that we offer.

Recology Stockton accepts a wide range of materials for recycling, and also provides debris box service.

Our core commitments are to provide first class customer service, to positively contribute to the quality of life within the communities we serve and to reduce our negative impacts on the environment.


Compost and Soils

Compost ProductsRecology Premium Compost:  This premium compost is made from 100% recycled yard debris, municipal green material and food scraps. Applying our compost is an excellent way to enhance your soils, and compost can be used in a wide range of agricultural and landscape applications.  This compost is screened to about ¼", is OMRI listed for organic use, and has the US Composting Council's Seal of Testing Assurance. Available in bulk at both RGEP sites.

Landscape Products

Decorative Mulches

Decorative Mulch is a 2" minus product derived from recycled wood, and is great for top dressing around your flowers. This product is colored using natural, organic dye that is safe for children and pets. Decorative Mulch is available in Black, Red, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Mahogany and Gold.

Ultra Potting Mix: consists of OMRI Listed Four Course® Compost, Rice Hulls, Mendo Peat, Gypsum, Groganics (OMRI listed pelletized poultry manure) and pumice. Ultra Potting Mix is fully ready for uses. This mix is formulated for indoor and outdoor planting, and is perfectly suitable for use in any size planting container. Provides a healthy substantial basis for all the demands of general purpose planting.

The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, as the solid waste enforcement agency for the City of Stockton, approved the Report of Facility Information (RFI) Amendment for Recology Stockton, Facility No. 39-AA-0045.
